JUDY HURST  
Welcome! Forest Trail is a great place to learn and play! I have taught kindergarten, first, second grades and a "Looping Class." I have taught in the Eanes district for over twenty years. One of the great things about being in one place for so long is that I am now teaching children whose parents went to Westlake High School (Go Chaps!) and had my husband, Coach Hurst as a coach/teacher! I have two lovely daughters, Hillary is a senior at WHS and Abigail is in 7th grade at Westridge Middle School. In addition to two daughters, we also have: cat-Cricket and a chihuahua-Jaime. My teaching philosophy is simple, Life is a Journey & so is second grade! I want my second graders to be challenged, have fun, learn to take risks, make good choices & lifelong friends. In our society today everything is fast and furious, I think it's ok to stop and smell the roses!
